A-sun modules carry a 10 year manufacturers warranty on the module itself, this is backed by a European Insurance backed warranty on power output for 25 years.
Out of preference we use SMA inverters which carry a standard 5 year warranty. This can be upgraded to cover the full life of the system.
Solar South West provides each customer with an operator’s manual which describes the system and gives maintenance information. Though solar arrays require very little attention, the document lists isolation procedures, troubleshooting, and cleaning instructions. It lists warranties, contact details: in fact we hope everything the customer needs to feel secure operating their mini "power plant".
Solar South West warrants the installed items against defect in design, materials and workmanship for a period of five years from the commissioning date. Additional warranties automatically apply from various components used in the installation (inverters & modules). During the warranty period Solar South West will repair or replace defective components or assemblies.
